Detective John Ericson, Schenectady PD
His left foot was dislocated and it was resting next to his leg. The bottom of his foot was pointing left. He tried to step on the foot but it wasn't there and he stepped on my stump falling to the ground in pain. When the Paramedics responded to get him out of the basement they needed to administer Morphine for the pain before moved him to the ambulance. Once at the ER his foot needed to be reset. OOUCH!!!!!
He had surgery Wednesday at 4:30 pm when screws and plates were applied.
2/10/07 He was transported
home by ambulance from the hospital. He will be laid up with a cast for
about 8 weeks or more.
John's addresses is;
618 Becker Crossing

Sue McDonough - retired NYSP
Chris and I just returned from a visit with Sue. She looks great. Talking,
joking, good spirits and has been up walking. They were going to discharge her
this afternoon but she requested to stay another day because she still has a
headache and a little wobbly on her feet. She figures an extra day is all she
needs. Jack will pick her up tomorrow in the AM and bring her home. She thanks
everyone that expressed concern for her welfare. She's a real trooper and is
looking forward to seeing everyone and getting back to a normal life.
Today Sue was feeling much better. She took the turban off her head and was
able to have conversations with the professional staff and her sister She got
out of bed and was able to stand up with the assistance of her physical
therapist. She won't be able to have visitors for a while - until she regains
her strength.
Sue went to the doctor on Thursday and an appointment for brain surgery is
scheduled for Tuesday, February 6th at St. Peters Hospital. At this time they
don't know whether to try to remove most of the cyst on her brain or put a shunt
in so that it can drain back into her body. Either way they go it is a very
serious operation. The surgeon is very positive that this will be a successful
operation which ever way they go. He won't know that until he gets in there and
at that time he'll make the decision. We're all pulling for her.
Keep her in your prayers
